A: While you could create your own free website, there are far too many drawbacks. After countless frustrating hours, those tools almost always yield mediocre results, and you certainly don't want to represent your home with a website that screams "unprofessional." Why waste your time when LucidEDE can create a polished website at a reasonable price?

Q: What will the web address (URL) of my website be?
A: Your website's address will be http://yourhomename.obrent.com, where yourhomename is the name of your home in lowercase with no spaces. Call or email LucidEDE for your exact address.

Q: How can I update my website if I remodel or change the features of my home?
A: You may make a reasonable number of changes to the photos and text on your website by simply sending us the changes; they will be made promptly.

Q: Will I have to pay maintenance or yearly fees?
A: Yes, there is a $50 per year fee to maintain your website after the first year.

Q: How will I know if people are visiting my website?
A: Upon request, LucidEDE will provide you with detailed monthly and/or yearly statistics.

Q: I want LucidEDE to create a website for me, but I cannot deliver the photos or descriptions to you until after the Southern Shores Realty RMA deadline. Can I get the web address for my LucidEDE website immediately so that I can include it in the catalog, and provide my photos and written descriptions later?
A: Absolutely. Just call or and we will provide you with the future address for your website. Also, you may set up a site using only your text and the few photos from your home's Southern Shores Realty online listing until you take the real photos.

Q: What if I cannot take the photos myself?
A: We encourage you to take the photos yourself so that you can control exactly what renters will see. However, if you are unable to do so, LucidEDE can take the photos for you for an additional fee. to arrange a photoshoot.

Q: How do I deliver my photos to LucidEDE?
A: If you took your photos with a digital camera, you may . If you took your photos with a film camera, you may develop them on a Picture CD and mail the disc to LucidEDE. See the Photos section on the Creating Content page for more information.

Q: How do I deliver my written descriptions to LucidEDE?
A: By email. See the Text section on the Creating Content page for more information.

Q: Where will my website be hosted?
A: Your websites will be hosted and maintained by LucidEDE. This is part of the yearly maintenance fee.

Q: Who actually owns the website?
A: The content belongs to you, while the design belongs to LucidEDE. Your website can be considered a service provided by us as long as you remain a LucidEDE client. If you choose to discontinue the service, you do not retain rights to the website design.

Q: Can LucidEDE create a virtual tour or 360° panorama photo for my home?
A: No, we do not create such tours for reasons both technical and practical. If you have already had such a tour created, however, it can be incorporated into your LucidEDE website.
